The Stage is Tel Aviv’s home for performing arts in English. We are a volunteer-based community dedicated to creating a platform for anyone to turn their artistic ambition, small or large, into reality. Our activities and performing arts events in Tel Aviv consist of large and small productions and performances, community events and workshops. 

 

There are a ton of opportunities for Israelis and native English speakers. We welcome all backgrounds, ages, and levels of experience, to be a part of our community or lead a project. We are here to help make YOUR performing arts dreams come to life.

Community Events 

• Stand-up comedy nights, poetry slams, storytelling and open mic nights. 

 

Large productions and musicals

• Our past performances include Miscast!, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Vagina Monologues, as well as original plays and performances from our short play festivals and 48-hour actathons.

Workshops

• We offer workshops for writing, acting, directing, improv, stand-up comedy, musical theater, and more.

​The Stage was established in October 2013, and is a registered Israeli non-profit organization.
